On October 17th 2009 The Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Co. was dispatched into South Old Bridge for the working structure fire. Ladder 51(Lt. Steinhauser) responded to the scene and upon arrival reported to the incident commander. Ladder 51's crew stood by on scene for approximately 45 mins as the R.I.T. and then was released back to South Old Bridge Engine 1 for a stand-by for the remainder of the operation.
