On August 26th 2009, Station 51 was dispatched to South Old Bridge for a working structure fire. Ladder 51(A/O Shapter) arrived on location and the crew reported to the incident commander. A/O Shapter and his crew were then directed to assist the initial crews with the extinguishment of the fire. After extinguishment they assisted with the extensive clean up.
