On May 16th 2009, The Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Co. was distpatched to the intersection of County Rt. 522 and Spotswood-Englishtown Rd. for the mva with entrapment. Deputy Kivet signed in service immediately and upon arrivial confirmed the entrapment of one victim. Squad 51 (Lt. Steinhauser) arrived on location minutes later and removed the passenger side door and roof so EMS could safely remove the victim.
