On April 4th 2009 the Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Co. was dispatched to 83 Janice Dr. in Spotswood for a shed fire. Ladder 51 (Lt. F. Steinhauser) arrived and assisted with extinguishment and overhall. Brush 51 (Capt. Costa) also arrived and assisted Spotswood with the brush fire that resulted from the shed fire.
